This privacy notice describes how personal data of users visiting augenscapital.com (the "Site") are processed, in compliance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and Italian Legislative Decree 196/2003 as amended by Legislative Decree 101/2018.
1. Data controller
The data controller is Augens Capital S.r.l., registered office at Corso Magenta 84, Milan, Italy. For any request concerning the processing of personal data you can write to info@augenscapital.com.
2. Categories of data collected
The Site is purely informational. It does not use cookies, tracking technologies, traffic analytics or third-party profiling scripts. For further details please refer to the Cookie policy.
Personal data are processed only when the user voluntarily contacts us via the e-mail address published on the Site. In that case we process the identification and contact data the user provides (name, e-mail address and any further data included in the message).
3. Purposes and legal basis
- Replying to enquiries received by e-mail. Legal basis: performance of pre-contractual measures or the legitimate interest of the controller in responding to the communication (Art. 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR).
- Compliance with legal obligations in civil, tax or fraud-prevention matters. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR.
4. Processing methods
Data are processed by electronic means with technical and organisational measures suitable to ensure their confidentiality, integrity and availability. The Site is delivered through GDPR-compliant cloud hosting; editorial content is managed through the Sanity platform.
5. Recipients of the data
Data may be processed by authorised personnel of the controller and by third parties providing technical support acting as data processors (notably the hosting provider and the content-management platform provider). No data are transferred to third parties for promotional or commercial purposes and no transfers to non-EU countries are made without adequate safeguards.
6. Retention period
E-mails received and the data they contain are retained for the time strictly necessary to handle the request and in any case for no longer than 24 months from the last contact, unless a longer retention period is required by law.
7. Data-subject rights
The user may exercise at any time the rights provided for by Articles 15–22 GDPR, including the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict the processing, port, object to and withdraw any previously given consent. To exercise these rights please write to info@augenscapital.com.
The data subject also has the right to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority — the Italian Data Protection Authority ("Garante per la protezione dei dati personali") at www.garanteprivacy.it.
8. Children's data
The Site is not directed to children under 16 and does not knowingly solicit personal data from them. If a parent or guardian believes that a child has submitted personal data, they are invited to contact us so that the data can be promptly deleted.
