Marco Mantica

Marco is a founding partner of Augens Capital, with over 30 years of experience in leading international private equity firms and investment banks.

Prior to joining Augens Capital, Marco was a Managing Director at Vestar Capital Partners, a leading middle market private equity firm based in the US. During his eleven years at Vestar, Marco was instrumental in the set-up of the European franchise, served as head of the Italian team and led several investments, including FL Selenia. Additionally, Marco was a member of the firm's Global Investment Committee and Portfolio Review Committee.

Before entering the private equity sector, Marco gained extensive investment banking experience as head of Société Générale's corporate finance team in Italy. Previously, he worked at Barclays, Euromobiliare and San Paolo Bank in London, Paris and Milan.

Marco holds a Summa cum Laude Master Degree in Business Administration at Bocconi University.
